A Freezing Cold Start to 2010

This year started off with an arctic blast like we haven’t seen in a decade. Our guys were starting early, going fast and working late to keep everyone’s heat running. You might be surprised to know the most common call wasn’t a broken part in a heating unit, it was frozen drain lines! Newer high efficiency furnaces, heat pumps and humidifiers all create water to be discharged even in the coldest weather. Hopefully you didn’t have any problems during this cold spell but if you noticed any water in or around your unit give us a call and have it checked out so you will be ready for the next deep freeze.
